Artwork Done Consciously
OM Made Studios is a creative platform whose mission is to encourage, promote, and celebrate self-realization through art made consciously. Creative work done consciously is born of a dedicated practice involving regular meditation, spiritual study, self-inquiry, right action, and faith in oneself . . . all done in service to the wider global community. At OM Made Studios, we do more than create quality work - we convert ideas that matter into art that teaches and inspires by shifting our awareness.
So, when you buy something from us - or share it with others - you’re not just making a purchase or praising a piece of artwork. You’re absorbing vital energy that’s reflective of a new emerging global paradigm, and then generously circulating that same energy out into the world . . . energy imbued with the potential to transform the consciousness of the planet for the better, to awaken our individual hearts and minds to the true nature of ourselves, to free us from the bonds of self-doubt, bring joy, and encourage others to take similar action in their own lives.
Unique Creative Voices
Given the many challenges we’re facing around the world - environmental, spiritual, economic, social - the time has come for a major leap forward in human consciousness. OM Made Studios can’t alter Humanity’s checkered past, but we can aim our unique creative voices in a positively charged direction that embodies the kind of widespread transformation that’s desperately needed. Remember, the waves that sculpt the coastlines are merely countless drops of water all moving together.
As one of these proverbial ‘drops,’ OM Made Studios is here, like so many other dedicated individuals and organizations, to raise the consciousness of Humanity by offering a variety of aesthetic choices that serve our highest good - wisdom, courage, joy, gratitude, and compassion - while releasing those whose time has come - ignorance, fear, shame, hopelessness, and pride.
Whatever You Feed, Grows
Everything that enters the mind shapes the mind, and ultimately, determines the sort of person we eventually become. The websites we visit, the books we read, the movies we watch, the friends we gather around, the incessant thoughts that fill our heads, even the art that adorns our homes and workspaces; each of these powerful ‘channels of influence’ taken together - along with countless others - send out minute ripples that affect us all, shaping our individual lives in innumerable ways, and sculpting our collective world in the process. As the saying suggests: Whatever you feed, grows. So the obvious question becomes: What are you feeding, and why?
Since you’re committed to being an agent for good in the world - which you are on some level, otherwise you wouldn’t be reading this right now - it makes sense to surround yourself with things that are healthy, uplifting, and instilled with a deeper sense of conscious awareness. OM Made Studios is here to gently steer our waking attention in creative ways that encourage living from this higher state of awakened Being and Becoming. True, the art we make will eventually turn to dust - everything that exists on the physical plane must, by natural law, decay - but the change in consciousness the art triggers? That lasts forever.
The Face Behind OM Made Studios
My name’s Christopher Palbicki and in 2015 I founded OM Made Studios, a creative platform committed to the expansion of human consciousness through art. I work out of the basement of my home, a beautiful little white house nestled on the edge of the American prairie in St. Paul, Minnesota that I share with my wife Shona and our two cats, Charlotte and Rocky.
For many years I was a television producer living in Hollywood: well-paid but unhappy. Unhappy because my work was neither interesting nor creatively inspiring. In fact, the entertainment industry as a whole had me questioning the path I was on. In the summer of 2007, the Universe gifted me a wonderful blessing in disguise: I got fired from my dangerously comfortable corporate job. With the door to explore now wide open, I decided to follow an intuitive impulse and move to New York City. No job. No friends. No plan. I was 36 years-old.
A few weeks after arriving, I began practicing meditation . . . sitting silently, cultivating patience, and above all, listening to the oft-ignored voice within. Soon, inspiring ideas began to surface and I felt compelled to rekindle a childhood passion that I’d long since abandoned out of fear and self-doubt: drawing.
As my confidence grew, I moved on to watercolors. By spring 2010 I’d discovered acrylic painting. Despite being scared by the inner transformation that was taking place, I was also too excited to even think of stopping. Something deep within my core being was urging me to trust my instincts, abandon any pre-conceived comfort zones, and step into the unknown.
Since then I’ve been teaching myself how to paint. No classes, mentors, or fine art degrees. Just me chipping away day after day. I’ve had my share of frustrating moments - I still have them now and again - but I’ve also progressed in ways I never imagined possible. Over time and with lots of effort I’ve learned to see the world, myself, and my fellow beings from a completely different perspective. Among other things, I’ve discovered that it’s never too late to re-invent yourself . . . to essentially ‘start over’ and get onto a Life path that aligns more clearly with who you truly are, and who you were meant to become.
“Your vision will become clear only when you look into your heart. Who looks outside dreams; who looks inside awakens.” - Carl Jung
